Restock Bot
Bot's Description
This is a restock alert bot. It consistently monitors when tracked items (refer to list below) go back in stock. Upon detecting a restocked item, it will immediately send out an alert to your selected notification method (email or Telegram). Each notification includes essential details such as the product's title, price, and other relevant information to assist you in making an informed purchase decision. To avoid excessive alerts, the bot is designed to notify only once every two hours for each individual SKU that returns to stock. This means if an item stays available for a prolonged period, subsequent restocks within this two-hour window won’t trigger additional notifications.
Bot's Schedule
To optimize resource usage and based on our analysis of restock patterns, we have adjusted the bot's operating hours:
Sat - Tues: Active between 9am and 5pm PT, checking for restocks every 5 min.
Wed - Fri: Active between 9am and 5pm PT, checking for restocks every 3 min.
Outside of these hours: The bot will be inactive and will not monitor for restocks.
FAQ
What products is this bot monitoring for?
Currently, only known gold SKUs (tracked items) are being tracked
Will this bot monitor and notify me of new SKUs?
No, this is only a restock bot. Only tracked items are being monitored for availability. Feel free to request a new SKU via the Request Form.
Can the bot track the availability of products not on the list?
Yes! The bot is capable of tracking any SKU from Costco. If you wish to monitor a new product, please submit your request through our Request Form. Be aware that we might ask for a justification for tracking the new item. Each request is assessed individually. Successful additions to our monitoring list will be publicly announced, and the SKU will be included in the below list."
How often is the bot checking for stock availability?
The bot operates every 3 minutes during peak restock times, which align with Costco's historical restocking patterns. For detailed timing, please refer to the Bot’s Schedule. It's important to note that this frequency is adjustable and may change based on various factors. Should there be any changes to this schedule, we will inform you via email or through our Telegram channel."
Why didn't I receive a notification when a tracked item was restocked?
There could be multiple reasons why the bot might miss a restock. Although we strive to ensure accuracy, occasional misses can occur. If you didn't receive an alert for a restocked item, please contact us at support@tremscol.com. Provide details such as the SKU or Title of the item and the time it was restocked. We will investigate asap!
How will I be notified when a product is restocked?
Via your selected method, either email, Telegram or both.
Is there a limit to the number of products the bot can track?
At this time there is no known limit. Always refer to the tracked items list to check the latest products being tracked
Is it possible for me to customize how often I receive restock notifications?
The frequency of notifications is set centrally and cannot be adjusted by individual users. However, if you observe that Costco restocks items more frequently during times not covered in the Bot's Schedule, you are welcome to suggest a schedule change. Please share your observations with us, and we'll consider them for future adjustments to the notification schedule.
Can I prioritize notifications for specific products?
Currently, the bot doesn't offer the feature to prioritize notifications for certain products. While Telegram alerts cannot be customized for specific items, you can effectively manage your email notifications. By setting up email filters, you can sort out alerts for products you're less interested in or organize emails into specific tags or folders for your preferred items. This way, you can tailor your email inbox to highlight notifications for products of higher interest to you.
How reliable is the stock information from the bot?
Our bot is designed to alert you when items are restocked, rather than providing specific stock quantities. It's important to remember that stock levels are subject to frequent changes and can be particularly limited for some SKUs. To enhance your chances of successfully purchasing a restocked item, we recommend following our Tips and Best Practices.
What should I do if I receive a notification but the product is still out of stock?
"Some items, like 100g gold bars, are extremely popular and tend to sell out quickly. It's crucial to act fast upon receiving a restock alert. If there's a delay in accessing the link from the notification, the item might already be sold out by the time you try to make a purchase. We advise being prepared to place your order immediately when you receive a notification to increase your chances of securing high-demand items. We recommend following our Tips and Best Practices to speed up your process.
